Introducing Dr. Jennifer Daratany, DMD, at Hampden Dentistry & Orthodontics
Hampden Dentistry & Orthodontics is proud to welcome Dr. Jennifer Daratany, DMD, to their team. Dr. Daratany’s patient-focused, compassionate approach fits well with the ethos of the practice.
Dr. Daratany’s History
Dr. Daratany started her career by earning a bachelor’s degree in recreation from the University of Northern Colorado. With a focus on making a difference in the wellness of others, she went on to obtain her master’s in athletic administration in 2008.
She served as the Aquatic Director for the Peter Blum Family YMCA of Boca Raton, FL. Her position as the leader of the facility and aquatics team enabled her to apply her training and flex her philanthropic muscles at the same time.
After a rewarding career spanning 15 years in the health and wellness industry, Dr. Daratany felt that she needed a new challenge. While she appreciated being able to assist people in obtaining athletic excellence, she wanted to serve her community in a more practical manner.
As a young child, she was fascinated by her visits to the dentist’s office. As an adult, she understood the significant impact of proper dental care on wellness. She found the perfect way to serve her community better and provide herself a new challenge — practicing dentistry.
She went on to study biology and health sciences, and she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the LECOM School of Dental Medicine. With her drive to serve her community as strong as ever, she opted to serve her residency at the Denver Health Hospital and Authority.
The busy public health environment provided the doctor with a solid grounding and practical experience in treating patients of all ages, especially children. Jennifer loves treating and providing quality dentistry for children. She now aims to put that experience to good use by providing the Denver community with patient-centric, conservative dental treatments.
